Don't underestimate the usefulness of this big, unfussy canvas daypack. For stashing sporting gear, doing long day walks in bad weather, used as an overnighter or for travelling ultra-light, village to village through the tropics, the CONTOUR shines. Use it to carry your veges and groceries for suburban shopping expeditions. This daypack has enough capacity to avoid a common daypack problem: trying to fit too much in rounds out the bag and makes it carry like a sack of potatoes!

The drawcorded rim of the bag is upswept so it pulls in over the load without straightening out the bag. The pack is shaped to follow both the vertical and lateral curves of the back. The large top cover provides excellent weather-proofing whether the bag is fully packed or not. The cover straps serve to trim the bag when it is not fully loaded.

The bag is prevented from rounding at the throat by a rigid, aluminium tube, transverse in the harness panel just above the shoulder straps. A closed-cell foam insert in the harness panel internal zip pocket insulates your back from lumpy pack contents. This pocket is also the place to keep flat documents like maps and walking guides.

If you simply need a cavernous, multi-use, daypack you can rely on year after year, the CONTOUR is an excellent choice.
