We have applied the design and construction techniques used on our popular Space 1 Winter model to create this burlier, stealth option for Special Operations, High-Country Hunting, and bad-weather backpacking use. We have used our unique dihedral 3-way pole hub design to create a low-profile, wedge-shaped tent envelope with an incredibly spacious interior. With the use of the highest-quality, high tenacity nylons throughout, this tent is built to perform where others fail. The Space 1 Winter SO is uniquely equipped to stand up to strong wind - the conditions that send other tents in this weight category packing. You can install your walking or ski poles and make them part of the Space 1 framework. Connect up the tent’s internal hub-to-hub tension strap as well and the Space 1 achieves a level of stability only seen in heavy, multi-pole geodesic tents. This tent features darker colours, and no reflecting parts, for bush blending and specialised uses.
