Transconti 45 rear panniers do not deviate from the classic, tried and true, versatility-is-key rear pannier configuration: a large main compartment with a heel-tapered front and a properly usable back pocket. We have added comprehensive load control strapping to a level unseen on competitors’ equipment. The main compartment of each pannier extends up into a long, roll-down throat, the same closure type used on the separate roll-top dry liner bag supplied with each pannier. The detachable top cover modules include useful zipped pockets and are height-adjustable according to the pannier loading. Their use is optional but a good idea if you go overloaded from time to time on a long, remote tour. All this interacts with the pannier rack via our proprietary, entirely new, rugged and uniquely adaptable mounting system, giving secure, rattle-free and stable load carriage.
